A little bit about our Pies…
Tom first started creating his delicious pig pies in January 2017 after his Grandma sent him her recipe she used to use when she was a young home cook. After months of tweaking his recipe Tom created his delicious Pig Pies. Popularity grew in the Derwentwater Arms (where the pies are currently made). Getting friends and family together is always a special occasion and what better way to celebrate is with food, or better still a pie, and a large one at that!
Our Big Pig Pies are very similar to a traditional pork pie. The difference is we don’t add the jelly to the pies, and well they’re huge too. They’re best served at room temperature with friends and family.
